Licenses - All Kansas deer permits are on a draw basis and must be applied for by the end of May. Contact the Kansas Dept. of Wildlife & Parks for applications and information (620-672-5911). Big Dog Outfitters offers hunts in both units 15 & 16, however, a unit 16 permit is very difficult to draw. Drawing a bow permit allows you to hunt statewide and we will conduct these hunts in both units 15 & 16. If you are unsuccessful in the draw, some landowner transfer tags may be available. Call us for availability. In addition to the deer permit, all hunters must purchase a state hunting license. These can be purchased upon arrival for $65. You can also buy one doe tag for $12.
