Terrain - Lots of open country with wheat and crop fields interspersed with CRP grass, some rolling hills, river bottoms and cottonwood draws.

Weather - Conditions can run the spectrum from warm Indian summer temperature to a winter blizzard. Generally temperatures will run from the high 30's at night to high 60's during the day in October. Late November and December can be very cold with temps as low as the teens. Strong winds are very common.
